Add IMAP Account in Outlook

Add IMAP Account in Outlook

  1. Click File → Info → Add account.
    The Outlook wizard for setting up a new account will open.
  2. Enter an email address to add your account.
  3. Click Advanced options and check the box for Let me set up my account manually.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. Choose the account type IMAP.
    The dialog IMAP Account Settings will open up.
  6. Use the following settings:
    1. Incoming mail: Server mail.YOURDOMAIN.xxx with port 993 and check the option This server requires an encrypted conncetion (SSL/TLS)
    2. Outgoing mail: Server mail.YOURDOMAIN.xxx with port 587 and the encryption method STARTTLS



  7. Click on Next.
  8. Enter your password and click on Connect.
